If a document is hidden, only specific individuals with specific roles can view the document. No one else will be able to view a hidden document. Based on the access policies in some states, only the Party of Record, the Attorney of Record, or the court clerks can view such documents.

If a document appears to be hidden, here are the possible reasons why.
- The document may have been eFiled as containing sensitive information which is a feature built into the eFile website. If the clerk accepts the filing as "Confidential" or "Containing Sensitive Data", then the document can be hidden on re:Search.
Once a clerk accepts such a filing, Filer Support cannot change the file Security for a filer.

- The clerk may have hidden this document from users with your role. Court clerks maintain control over case information, security, and other duties inherent to their role as a custodian of the court record.
