If you receive an "Access Restricted" message when signing into re:SearchNM, you can resolve by completing the following steps, depending on your role.
Within the "Access Restricted" message, a message will prompt you to link an attorney record (see screenshot below).
After clicking on the link attorney record option, you will be prompted to search by Name or Attorney Number
After searching, select the attorney you are wanting to link from the search results, then click Next.
You will be prompted with instructions to send a confirmation email to the preferred email listed for the attorney with the New Mexico Supreme Court. Click Send Confirmation Email.
A confirmation page will inform you to click on the confirmation link sent within the confirmation email to activate your account. Completing this step will remove this "Access Restricted" message.
Self-Represented Litigants (SRL)
In order to resolve an "Access Restricted" message, ensure the following steps have been completed:
- File: Be sure you have filed your case in person at the court, have included the Unsworn Affirmation form with your filing, have been marked as Pro Se (self-represented) on the case, and have had your email address added to your party record.
- Apply: Click this link to download the SRL application form. Print, complete, and scan (or take an image of) the completed form. Then attach the scan or image to an email with the subject line "SRL Access Request" and send it to support@nmcourts.gov. Please be patient, the review and approval process can take up to 30 days. When your application has been processed, you will receive an email from the JID Service Desk.

Register: After registering, you will receive an email confirming your account has been created; however, you will not have access to your case information (and this Access Restricted message will not be removed) until your application is approved by JID.
